Yup...my husband, back when he was only a friend, worked two jobs so I barely got to see him, and when I did he was always so sweet to me that it drove me crazy being away...he also lived an hour-and-a-half away.

Well, I would say it depends on the set of circumstances....if there are unresolved strains in the relationship, it possibly can add to the strains.
