I would have to say Slash. Listening to him play the theme from the Godfather on the use Your Illusion tour still gives me chills!

Brian May is more innovative cause doesnt play just pentatonic scales and have 2 styles of music, (slow ballady types and faster rock anthems) like Slash.

I love both Gn'R and Queen !!
I'd say slash as I'm more into heavy/metal rock and he reminds me slightly of Hendrix who is still the greatest :)
