Use some bottled water (no hard water particles hopefully) 1 litre
Put in 1 cup white vinegar 1 drop of dish soap and 2 tablespoons of ammonia. Put on and let sit for 5 minutes wash off and try again if it all does not come off at once. The spots are from the calcium in the water or from being near a sprinkler that waters the garden.

Water stains?? Water doesn't stain glass. Something else.? However, you can use a razor blade to scrape the surface. No, it won't scratch glass as glass and steel are of the same hardness....they can't scratch each other. You can get single edge razor blades from a paint store or hardware store(in the paint section). Steel wool however can make a dulling on the glass. Sandpaper will scratch.

Water stains on windows are due to calcium deposits in the water. The best and least evasive solution to your dilemma is use straight vinegar, white or apple. It doesn't really matter. This also will not hurt paint or rubber on your car. Happy roading!

I used to detail cars and saw this a lot. Cleaners such as Comet and Ajax work. Doesn't take too much.

use one of those ones that are made for drying cars, i forget what they're called but their cheap and usually yellow, they feel kind of like fleece, but almost sticky, go to a hardware store or car supply store and ask. sorry, i shouldn't try and answer car questions.
