According to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Las_Vegas. Snow is rare on the valley floor where the city of Los Vegas is but in the mountains around the city there can be up to 10 feet of snow.

It looks like it must snow in Los Vegas from time to time.

las vegas is known to get some snowy weather once every few years at a time. it doesnt happen often mainly because las vegas doesnt receive a lot of yearly precipitation and winters are normally not cold enough to make snow.

It snowed this past Wednesday on the strip! In Henderson (15 minutes away), it snowed two times in November/December.
