(pleas give the site where u got it) The question is this: What was the response to colnization within Nigeria? Were there any famous groups/people that aided or resisted colonization? There werenn't any organized resistance that I remember. The colonization was really slick. The british would rule through putting certain Emirs in power and having them recognize British Authority. Sort of what America is currently doing in Iraq accept there was no al-quaeda.
They became independant in 1960.
