im gonna buy my friends 93 altima...its been in a collision and needs the hood to be replaced. is it easy to install a hood or would u recommend pro installation, and how much do i expect to pay for it to be installed?

i own shop,and this isn't a hard job at all ,you,ll need help to get it off and on,because someone has to hold it while the bolts are being taken out of it,other than that its an easy job,good luck,i hope this help,s.

well let me tell u im an expert at this one i have lost my hood twice whitin 6mos just flu off on the freeway thank good no onr was hurt u can be looking at about $150.00 to about $200.00 thats 4 the hood and professional installation DO NOT go to the dealer and DONT let any on talku in 2 that first go 2 the junk yard or even get out the phone book and call some repair shops or used car lots i just recently got my second one and cost about that much if u need more info and live in los angeles send me a kite /e-mail . my bad

Just like your previous question. Dont buy it, its got 220k miles and a damaged front end. This car belongs in a junk yard!

easy fix do it your self with your friend just make sure it latches right and opens right
