How do you work the early V tech childs laptop computers?

Hi, received this for my great nephew, it is an older style v tech childs laptop computer, ages 3-6, mouse is made onto the laptop, anyway, there is no instruction booklet, when you turn on the computer it instructs you to choose an activity.

Well, there are plenty of numbers with different activities on the the lid, by the screen, but I do not know how to choose an activity. I push activities and a number, nothing happens.

If anyone knows which one of the laptops I am talking about and knows how to choose activities I would appreciate, so would my hair, as I am pulling it out trying to figure this out!!!

we own one of those and you just push the number and then you push activities. if that doesn't work then idk
