they need a judge from the bahamas to issue a court order in order to do that. if larry birkheads attorney were to take it without a court order everything would be invalid. the bahamas are the ones with jurisdiction presiding over the matter. from what i've been hearing on the news they should get the dna from dannielynn in a month and it only takes 3 days to find out the results. she is also a resident of the bahamas which makes it difficult to enforce the states order. hope this clears it up for you.
