to use a pumice stone on my face to exfoliate? (obviously lightly...not too rough?)

What else could I use to really scrub my soap in? I use Biore of big pores right now because my pores are sort of big. (without giving me prolem breakouts...amazing huh?)

a pumice stone is way too harsh for the skin on your face. i would suggest using something like st.ives apricot scrub with a loofah if you really feel like you need the exfoliation.

in actuality, you will probably get better results if you exfoliate more often rather than harder. try using a clay mask once a week and exfoliate with a grainy scrub three times a week. always moisturize with a light lotion after.

i attached the website links for my favorite products.

A pumice stone is real rough on tender face skin. They have some cleansers on the market that have some "exfoilating beads" in them, and I think that would be much better for you skin that the pumice stone.

Check to see if maybe Biore might have something along the line of what I mentioned.
If not, when you go to the store, ask the clerk there to help you.

Use Saint Ives Apricot scrub instead of a pumice stone. A stone is brutal for your face. A pumice stone or scrub won't change the size of your pores.

That pumice stone business sounds a bit risky. I would suggest using a face wash made with exfoliating beads already in it. Here's what I use and it's fabulous: Oil of Olay exfoliating face wash, Oil of Olay toner, and a face lotion with sunscreen in it. It is so great at keeping skin clean, but also soft. Good Luck!

Add salt to a cleanser or moisturiser .... a homemade exfoliator! Can be used on face or body.

The rougher the salt (e.g rough salt - sea salt) the rougher the exfoliator will be.

Oh, and I wouldn't use a pumice stone! Too harsh, you don't want to end up marking your skin or causing a rash.

a pumice stone is way too abrasive even if used lightly, there are plenty of commercially available, inexpensive facial scurbs that are more suited to the delicate skin on your face

using something that hard on your face would make you sensitive and your skin red. i use a gentle daily scrub by Neutragena to exfoliate daily. it keeps my skin clean and fresh without the redness. good luck

No way. That will cause clogged pores and dry rough skin.
