Son bought a used baby micro for the cottage, but this oven doesn't have a numeric keypad (1-!0) to set the cook on high, med or low. Anyone have any ideas how to set the different temp.
It has the usual cook, defrost including by weight etc., but nothing for setting the cook to desired temp.
Any help would be apprecited. This oven is 6 yrs old.

microwave ovens don't actualy have power levels. the magnetron(microvave maker) has two settings, on and off. the power level settings simply turn the magnetron on and off at specific points in time. to simulate this effect, simply run the microwave for like 20 seconds and turn it off for 20 seconds. the more you want to give it, the longer you run it and the shorter you let it sit.
