How much money can someone expect to earn if great at sales?

If you are great at sales the sky is the limit. But the trick is learning to be great at sales. A lot of time selling seems easy in theory but it can be much more difficult when its actually attempted. The trick is learning people skills and networking. I was in adv for over 35 years. I had a BFA degree but many of my friends did not. I worked as a sales rep for the Yellow Pages and made good money. You could look into other areas such as TV, radio, newspaper or magazine ad sales.
Contact those media in your own town and see if they are hiring. Even an entry level position can pay well. It's commissioned sales so, the harder you work, the more you earn. Good luck.

As someone else said, the sky is the limit when it comes to making $ in advertising sales.

My degree is in something COMPLETELY different but I got into advertising thru a business I owned. I currently am employed at a television station and absolutely love it.

If I had it to do all over again, a marketing degree would have been helpful.
