Actually, I agree with Jason Whitlock's article about this situation. He said that he thinks Peterson is playing this exactly as he should. Offer him a one year deal and make him prove he can keep his nose clean and continue to show improvement in his on the field performance. If he is successful at both next season, then sign him to a large contract extension. The bottom line is that Allen has a lot of growing up to do and he better do it quickly before he throws away his career, if not his life.

I have only heard of one incident were he caused trouble and if you look at it many people have their ups and downs and if all the players were truly honest to you many would say that one of the only reasons they were playing football is for the money... Jared is pretty good and i don't think they'll let him go for a while until he does something very bad...

You can't just cut one of the Top 5 best every-down defensive linemen in the NFL if he isn't giving you a Pac-Man Jones reason to. Jared was my best defensive fantasy player last year from where I drafted, and he earned my respect. You want someone to get lost, send away that secondary.

No he is one of there best defensive players. If they are gonna get rid of him they need to trade him so that they can get something out of it. Otherwise they will lose one of their best players and that wont help them in anyway.
