To everyone who thinks that global warming is an A) myth or B)
not that bad, I just have one question, what if you're wrong? what
if it is real and the inability to scrape up enough foresight to see it coming, and leaves a devastated world. What are you going to tell you're children or grandchildren who are now living on that devastated world when they ask you why you knew there was a problem and did nothing. Are you going to tell them " well Al Gore used a lot of electricity in his house", or maybe " well the movie stars who had private jets said we should conserve energy, but they were being hypocritical so we didn't listen." Why is reducing pollution such a god awful thing to some people, this is the question I have. Also precisely when did Rush Limbaugh become a climatologist?, he a political hack with nothing to warrant him making any statement about this subject, except for his microphone and his seriously slanted agenda.

Rush Limbaugh and I differ on many issues. Remember that The Green House Theory is called a theory for a reason .... it has not been proven beyond all scientific doubt. There is no doubt in my mind that the earth is going through a normal cycle or warming and/or cooling that it always has done in the past, and will continue to due so in the future. I am on the fence but would hate to be wrong, so I ere on the side of caution. Ease up on things that could be effecting our ozone layer as best you can and hope for the best. Remember, global warming is a hot-button topic these days and most Americans agree with it. There will never be full proof so Rush and others (me included) should thank god we live in America and can express our opinions freely!

To actually everyone who thinks that international warming is an A) fantasy or B) no longer that undesirable, I in simple terms have one question, what once you're incorrect? what even if it really is genuine and the shortcoming of ability to scrape up sufficient foresight to make sure it coming, and leaves a devastated international. What are you going to allow you to comprehend are toddlers or grandchildren who're now residing on that devastated international at the same time as they ask you why you knew there turned right into a difficulty and did no longer some thing. Are you going to inform them " nicely Al Gore used truly some electricity in his residing house", or maybe " nicely the movie stars who had deepest jets said we ought to continually preserve power, yet they were being hypocritical so we did not pay interest." Why is reducing pollutants one of those god undesirable portion of a few human beings, that is the question I absolutely have. also precisely at the same time as did Rush Limbaugh develop right into a climatologist?, he a political hack with no longer some thing to warrant him making any statement about this subject, except for his microphone and his heavily slanted agenda.

You can do a couple of things to figure this out: you can keep reading and listening only to conservative rhetoric on this issue that aims at protecting only the interests of big business and at all costs (and doesn't hide this) or you can hear someone like Gore, who has become a politician that actually stands for something. You can continue to be wasteful and careless and be a part in contributing to polluting our beautiful planet or you can make a few minor changes in your life and be a decent human being its your call really. (Oh and yes there are scientists that argue climate change is inevitable and not necessarily caused by global warming, but no one can argue that we do not make a impact on this globe and that our waste and consumption of energy needs to be contained; its not rocket science to figure that out.)

Let me be tactful, Rush Limbaugh really is a big fat idiot, just like Al Franken's book "Rush Limbaugh is a big fat idiot" says he is. Early on in Reagan's first term Ron did away with the laws that forced journalistic news agencies to be honest. Ron made it legal for "news" shows to in fact lie and distort fact for the sake of promoting specific interests. Rush promotes specific interests, specifically his neo-conservative sponsors interests. He doesn't deliver "news" he promotes opinion.

And one last thing, about half of what he says on any given show is distorted falsehood designed to misled people. He not only lies, he does so skillfully and with malicious forethought. Even the Republican spin on Gore's electric bill is a lie, read Gore's press release on the subject. It is sickening how good the Republicans are at lying.

First: Global warming is happening. The only arguments among scientists are how fast it will happen, and how much human activity has contributed.
Second: Rush Limbaugh, IN HIS OWN WORDS, says he is an entertainer, not a reporter, not an analyst. He has offered this as a reason for not sticking exactly to the facts.

it's called science... maybe you've heard of it... and many studies have been done on the subject...

it has little to do with Gore or Rush really...

and if you don't think Rush lies... it only shows you've never actually looked at what he talks about any farther and you just accept it as truth... so of course you have no clue if he's lied to you or not... and probably don't care...

and 40 million watched the Oscars... about 2 million listen to Rush a day...300 million live in the U.S.

You poor sap. PT Barnum must have had people like you in mind when he said that there is a sucker born every minute.

By the way Al Gore won and Oscar not Oscore.

Do you think Rush will win an award for spewing clap trap lies on conservative hate radio?

Both, I do believe that we have a climate shift occurring but I don't believe that we humans are the driving force behind it. It has been proven that the earth has been through this cycle in it's past. The ice age ended and many new species of plants and animals was born so is warming a bad thing? I am all for trying to cut down on pollution even if it does nothing to help with the GW issue because it is the right thing to do. I am tired of the alarmist who are using this non issue for political gain. Lets just clean up our enviroment because we should.

Ask Al Franken. He has never lied to ME.
Raunch Limpbone is the Father Caughlin of the 21st century.

Even our 'Decider' in Washington has finally come-over to the sensible side of the street regarding global warming; practically kicking and screaming but he came over.
