I've had fish that have eaten each other alive and it was not such a pleasant sight to see, so if you know which kinds do go together and don't with silver molly fish, please help me!!!

Lots go with mollies actually. Any other live bearers will (guppy, platy, swordtail) and lots of the smaller tetras (neons, glolights, penguin, too many to list). Lets not forget cory catfish, they go well with almost anything.

What you want to do is make sure you are buying peaceful types of fish that don't get too large. As long as you keep that in mind you'll do well with picking tank mates. Just be sure you know a little about the fish BEFORE you buy it and find out that cute little fish gets a foot long and really mean!

Well there are different communities of fish, mollies are in the community group, but them with guppies, platies, ext.. Ask your local pet store.

Personally? I'd suggest platies. They're practically cousins and they usually get along splendidly (or swimmingly,if you want to be punny. ^_-).
