'The apple doesn't fall far from the tree??'
in YOUR case, would you say this is true, or would you say they couldn't be more wrong even if they tried??? :)

If my parents were an apple tree, then I came out a carrot, way down the end of the road... nothing like either of them.

It is not true in my case. Unless, the tree was on a hill and the apple rolled down and hit a flowing river, leaving the apple far away from the tree. But I love my parents, and our opposite behaviors works.

Depends on the tree. With some people, the tree is on a hill with a lot of ugly branches (not physically, but mentally), and the apple rolls down the hill. I love it when that happens.
In some cases it depends on just the apple.
For Me? I fell comfortably, about a foot away from the tree.

the apple does fall far from the tree in my case becuase i do not have the same intentions as my mom.

You are correct in my instance. I walked into the restroom at work. I was washing my hands and as I looked up into the mirror, I saw someone I hadn't seen in years. There was my mothers' face staring back at me..lol I swore I would be nothing like her and here I am an exact image of her -- illnesses and all.

i don't think that's true..i think everyone makes their own choice about how far or close they want to be from the tree
