If there is an imbalance of power then the older or the more dominent person of the relationship wears the pants. No one should wear the pants in a relationship. People should be equally treated.

Oh, I certainly do.
While I do everything I can to make sure that my wife is happy, and I never do anything without discussing it with her, I tend to make the final decision. I get the remote most of the time, even if I hand it to my wife. I tend to choose what is for dinner (I cook most of the time, too, but that is just because I like it). I make the money decisions. I pick a lot of how we spend our time together (we're going camping this weekend).
Two reasons, that I can think of. I'm 12-1/2 years older than my wife, and I'm more of a go-getter.
I am getting her to make more decisions, though. She's very sharp and see's through the BS in life almost immediately, but she needs more confidence. It makes me happy to see her becoming more sure of herself, though.

The person that loves the least wears the pants, unfortunately. When someone loves more than the other, you can get them to do almost anything or forgive you for almost anything.

both ,,,, but its usually the one who makes the critcal decisions
in the relationship and makes the most money.. somtimes u let the other side where the pants until u have too!!!!!!!!

I say that any couple that has any one person who wears the "pants" is an imbalanced couple. It's about a give and take relationship. ALWAYS.

in today's life,it doesnt matter who wear the pants.as long as u undrstand each other's point of view evrytime u need to settle any probs or situation.and it should be a two way street.and that depends on what's your agreement on evrything.
