,Nick, I don't know why people can't just give a simple answer without being sarcastic.But, ponce De Leon landed and explored that area now known as Florida. There were other explorers there as early as 1497

God I hate that word.

Discovered... Used by white men when they give names to places that already have people living there.

Florida was inhabited for thousands of years according to archeological evidence.

If you want to know who was the first WHITE person to see Florida, most historians say it was Juan Ponce de Leon who landed there in 1513, but even that is suspect because he met an Indian there who already spoke Spanish, so maybe someone was there before.
