Ok. It sounds like you have too much information there, sometimes teachers / textbooks throw too much at people to purposely confuse you. I don't think it's nice, either.
Firstly, figure out how many hours Juan is working per week:
he works 9 hour days, for four days a week
9 x 4 = 36.
So now you know that he works 36 hours EACH week. Now you need to know that he is going to be working for 9 weeks, at 36 hours a week:
36 x 9 = 324
So now you know that if he works four days a week, for nine hours a day, for a total of nine days (still with me?) that he will end up working 324 hours total over the course of the summer.
Now you just have to multiply his hours worked by his hourly wage, and don't forget the decimal place! (I'll let you figure out this last part!)
324 x 6.65 =

it basically askes how much money he'll make over the summer. "gross" is an amount of money before any deductions are made. So just take 6.65 (amout of money earned per hour)times 9 (amount of hours per week). then take that answer and multiply it by 12(number of weeks in the summer). I'm not sure what that equals out to though but I hope I helped a little.

Gross means the total pay he gets, before they take out taxes, Social Security, etc. So you just have to multiply $6.65 times 9 to see how much he gets each day, then times 4 to see how much in a week, then times 9 since he works for 9 weeks. Hope that helps

Okay I'll help:
Okay as you can see he works 9 hours; he also works for 6.65 an hour. To see how much he gets a day multiply 6.65 by 9 = 59.85 a day. To see how much money he makes a week times the amount of money a day to the amount of days in a week: 418.95. Multiply that by the number of weeks whihc is 9: 3770.55

Days of the week worked: 4
Hours per day: 9
9 x 4 equals hours per week worked (36 hours)
36 Hours per week multiplied by rate per hour this will equal pay per week.
36 x $ = Pay per week
Pay per week x 9 (weeks) equal Gross (what is earned before deductions like taxes are taken out) Pay.
(Net Pay is after deductions are taken out. This is what is referred to as TAKE HOME PAY)
(The 12 weeks is thrown in as unnecessary information to confuse you.)

section equals length situations height. because it truly is a sq., the dimensions and height will be a similar. so that you do the sq. root of 4900, it truly is 70. the fringe is the dimensions around the sq.. each section is 70 ft, so 70 * 4 supplies you the fringe. the fringe is 280 ft.
