Does Anyone Else Here Like Techno Music? I Really Like Utada Hikaru who has some cool songs but people don't really like techno that much. I know it's annoying to some people but, I still like it. =P

I love the song Utada Hikaru does for the video game Kingdom Hearts II. It's the main theme song called "Sanctuary".
A lot of people say techno/trance is just a "repetitive beat". I guess you really have to like it and really enjoy it to understand it's much more than a repetitive beat.

Utada Hikaru isnt really techno
shes more J-Pop
but techno is ok, but i wouldnt listen to it if i had a choice

Well, those artists are not considered "techno" if you study the origin of this sub-genre of Electronic/Dance music. Techno artists are Acen, The Prodigy, Chanell X, etc. Artists such as Cascada, Kate Ryan, Milk Inc. etc. are really a combination of Dance-pop with a with club edge to it, as is much of Eurodance or Hi-NRG music with pop appeal. Anyway, I love Electronic/Dance genre music, athough my favourite is House music, the warmer, more soulful type. I generally enjoy most of it. i love it always have always will.......but i mostly listen to rnb/hip hop etc these days.
