Probably but won't happen, because she is the first female. If CBS were to fire her they would have to replace her with another female to avoid a backlash. I also think that, not totally Katy's fault, but the whole Dan Rather incident. He really hurt CBS's reputation of reporting the truth. A lot of people probably started watching other stations and never looked back. She knew she was facing an up hill climb when she took the job.

yes, i heard ratings were falling since she came on, but i never watch CBS, never really have...didnt think i'd like her replacement on the today show but she is much better than Katie was
