you place all of your fingers on the ouija triangle object, (I forgot the name of it), do not move it, just keep your fingers on the object. Do not put added pressure on it, otherwise it will not work.
People who use this board, use it to try and contact the dead. When you ask it a question, a supernatural force will answer you by gliding the pointed object to certain letters spelling out your answer.
It is used to conjure up demons and spirits. You should know what you are getting into before you decide to get this board. People who are into the Dark Arts, or as you know it, black magic, use this board to contact spirits, many witches use it too.
There are different types of ouija boards, and no they are not (games)! it is the real deal..

There is an entire book on the subject called 'Alestier Crowley and The Ouija Board' by J. Edward Cornelius. I recommend reading it, as it has more info than I could put here.

First a wooden board is carved into a oval or a circle.Then,they carve letters and yes and no into the board....they put a glass on top of it and summon a spirit.

How it works is the unconscious mind makes subtle movements of the fingers and hands and this spells out the messages.
water witching (dowsing) works the same way.
