My class has been assigned 1941-1960 for this Americana thing and my friends and I are doing dances of that time pieriod..So I have been assigned the task of making 5 of em...which I have no idea how to

Go to a Fabric store, and look at the pattern books. In the Halloween Costume sections, you should find patterns for a poodle skirt. Then, if you're lucky, you can find an applique of a poodle (or make one with felt), and stitch it on to the bottom of the skirt. For a "leash" for the poodle, stitch some ribbon going from the poodle to the waistband.

Sounds like a fun project.

just buy some from costume store...way easier but all u really need is felt, elastic, and doggie patterns
