I'm not sure what you're asking.
You either apply as a freshman or you apply as a transfer student.
If you apply as a freshman, you're basically starting fresh at the school. Sure you may have some credits from a CC, but not many. Lots of kids take courses at a CC in high school because their school didn't offer enough of a challenge. That's a good thing.
If you apply as a transfer student, you're usually applying to get in as a junior. You're transferring over a decent number of credits. 2 years worth, basically. There usually aren't many transfer slots at all, but most go to transfers from a CC. If you want to get into a school as a transfer student, then you want to do it from a CC instead of a 4 yr uni.

Actually it can be much easier to transfer because most community colleges have transfer agreements with certain colleges, so that students who have met the requirements are more likely to get in as a transfer student then as a freshman. A 3.6 GPA and extracurricular activities are definitely bonuses for any college looking at your transcripts and application. Don't worry - you'll be fine! I had a 3.5 GPA and no extracurricular activities and I still got into an accredited private art school, even after I had to put together a portfolio and application in just a week. Good Luck!!

God, no! It is alot easier, and most of the time much more beneficial, to go to community college first. If you substain your grades (which it seems you've done) you should have a good chance of getting in pretty much anywhere. Also, another benefit of going to community first is you can fill all your GE requirements, and then have more time for electives when you transfer.

Depends on the college, and your grades. A state university should find your community credits acceptable. However, Yale and Harvard might have a problem with them, unless you are a female Eskimo from Australia. .

I went from a community college to a university with a 2.6 GPA.
I was accepted into every university I applied to... I think it's easier than if you're going straight from High School.

If you get your 2 year degree from a community college, you can get into almost any college except ivy leagues.
