A blog is short for web log...It;s like an online diary of sorts. To start one, you can sign up at blogger.com, xanga.com, wretch.cc or livejournal. There are a lot of host to choose from.
You can start one if you want to share your life with others or just want to broadcast your thoughts.
Money can be made if your blog has a good share of viewers.

Well its short for weblog. You talk about your life, how things are going, your personal opinion on things..like a diary but for everyone to see. So you can tell people secrets that you HAVE to tell without anyone you actually know having to know.
