Since you are limited on time, I would stick to one park each day. If you try to do more than one park in a day, you will spend a lot of time just going between the parks (I suppose you could do Islands of Adventure and Universal in the same day if you wanted) You would be able to see a lot more by staying in one place.

Not sure if you will be on a budget, but if so you will not be able to get any savings on the tickets. The parks generally only offer a savings for the longer passes. The exception to this is Sea World, since they do offer the advanced savings so you pay children's prices.

With Disney, you will save a little if you plan to do the parks for three days, but the real savings starts at 4 days when an extra days pass costs a very small amount, averaging down the cost for the other days. Since you will be paying full admission price for your pass, it can be a little steep. You will be paying $72 for the base pass with no hopping or water parks, a 3 day would be aroun $205. Again, since you don't have very much time in the area, I would stay in one park, this would save you almost $50 on your pass. You are still able to go in and out of the same park each day, but you can't go to another park until the next day. If you only want to do one park and then the Disney water parks, Disney Quest, Pleasure Island and Wide World of Sports. For $54 you can get 3 visits to those places, so that would be a savings and give you more options. So that is your options for Disney.

For Universal, you have a few options as well. Again, with Universal and Disney, there is little to no savings for the one day passes. With Universal you have the option of a 1 day, 1 park pass, so that is good for one day and you can visit only one of the parks. That costs $63 or $67 if you wait to buy it until you get to the park. There is also the 2 park, 1 day pass where you can go to both of the parks, but only for one day. That costs $74 or $77 if you buy them at the gate. Finally, you have an option that may work out better for you because it will save you money and give you something to do for your whole stay. For $86 you get unlimited admission for 7 days to both parks and the clubs in City Walk. It's a great deal and you could go everyday you are in the area. But, that one does have to be purchased in advance.

You also have the flex pass, but it is good for 14 days, so may be more than you need. You can get into Sea World, Islands of Adventure, Universal Orlando and Wet'n Wild, if you get the 5 park ticket, it also includes Busch Gardens. The 4 park pass is $195.

So those are some options for the parks. As far as a hotel, that just depends what you plan to do. If I am going to be in Disney more, I stay at Disney's hotel, if at Universal I will stay in one of their hotels, if I will be doing a little of everything, I tend to stay at Disney more often. The Disney hotels are great, but if you will be going to Universal and/or Sea World, then you will need to get transportation to the parks. The Disney resorts only provide transporation to their parks, Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, MGM Studios and Animal Kingdom, as well as Downtown Disney and the water parks. To get from Disney's hotels to the other parks, you could take public transportation (never used it so I'm not really sure where you would go or how that would work) you could take a taxi or a private transfer. If you will be going to both Universal and Sea World from the Disney hotel, you will probably be better off getting a rental car, price wise that is. I believe Mears does transfers to area attractions from the hotels, you can always call and ask, or perhaps someone else will know better on that. Universal used to offer a shuttle to their parks from Disney, but I don't think they have that anymore. If you don't mind staying offsite, alot of hotels will offer a shuttle to Disney, Universal and Sea World, so that could save you some money of getting your own shuttle.

Hope this helps!

Disney World alone consists of 4 theme parks, 2 water parks, Downtown Disney and believe me ...there is MORE!

If you stay at a Disney Value Resort, I would just visit Disney parks. You can use their Magical Express service that transports you to and from the airport. Then while there you can use Disney Transportation system to get to the park you choose to visit.

IF you stay at Disney, and want to visit Universal or Sea World, you would have to rent a car or arrange shuttle or taxi service.

With only 3 days, it is difficult to get the most out of the parks. When we go, we usually do a minimum of 5 days. My last trip was a 7 day trip- we did 3 days Disney, 2 days Universal & Islands of Adventure, 1 day we drove to Tampa to go to the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, and one day we did some shopping and a dinner show.

So my suggestion would be to stay on Disney Property and just do the Disney Parks. You can always contact the Disney Resort and ask them to shedule a shuttle for you to get to Universal if you want to try those parks out for one of the days.

Have a great time! But remember, if you try to do TOO much in such a short time, you will miss out on a lot!

I would go to Disney! If you're staying at a Disney Value Resort they will provide transoprtation. I don't think anyone can do Disney in just one day. ALso you can always buy a one day ticket for Disney and upgrade it if you want to stay longer just buy paying the differnce in price. I just got back from my third time there and started out with a five day park hopper and ended up with eight days. Hope you have a safe and Magical vacay!

i wouldn't do all three. not near enough time for that. you could do universal and disney..or seaworld even. i've been to disney world 15 times! i love it. so i would definitley go there. get the park hopper pass and you can get more done in one day. staying at a value resort is a good idea. i think you will need a car..but it's up to you. :) hope that helps

Buy a 3 day pass. All the motels in the area will take you to the parks. Staying at a Disney resort is quite expensive, unless you get a package with all of it included.

I think you should visit all those if you haven't visited them before. If you have visited some of them, visit the ones you haven't been to, you may need a rent a car if you don't have one of your own, and it would be lovely to stay at a disney value resort.

depends. Disney's Magic Kingdom, and Animal Kingdom to a degree, are geared more for little kids. Disney's Epcot is good but has a lot of scientific exhibits. Check out universalorlando.com, I just saw where they have combo passes to Disney and Universal.

Having lived in San Diego for several years, I went to all 3 out there and my favorite was Sea World. The resort can give you transportation info to all 3 sights.

Living in Miami Ive been through out all the theme parks in Orlando and in three days Wat u should do is buy a park hopper which mean u can hop from park to park without waiting in line to buy a ticket and also that same day like lets say u want to go to magic kingdom then at 3:00 u get bored and u want to go to Epcot
then all u have to do is once u get to Epcot show them the park hopper and Ur in. i say the best parks u should go to are animal kingdom magic kingdom and Epcot top best theme parks also sea world so go to 2 parks in both days.

I would do a 1 day park hopper with water park, and Sea world, then Universal if you only have 3 days if will be tight but make the most of it. If you book seaworld do it 7 days in advance on their website http://www.seaworld.com and you will pay kid prices for adult tickets........

Have fun
