I need to find out exactly what happend with the tragic story of my boyfriends cousin J.P.my boyfriend served 7 yrs. in prison after being charged with man slaughter of his cousins murder.It was a drug deal that went bad but my boyfriend and his cousin were together the shooter wanted to kill both but only was able to shoot the passenger which was J.P. my boyfriends cousin he was in the driver side and thats why my boyfriend was charged with manslaughter and parole which he is on now,the shooter is doing life without the possibility of parole.This happend in Strathmore California about 9-11yrs. ago The newspaper that followed the sad story is the Porterville Recorder.Can you help me find that story.I need details

The newspaper will either have actual copies or will have it on microfiche (microfilm). One of your local libraries MIGHT have it on microfiche.

the newspaper will have all back issues. so will the local library. you have to call first, then visit to read them. it won't be in paper form, it's on their computer or another sort of machine they have.
