very doubtful that Nintendo will come out with the next hand held. The DS's are flying off the shelves even after 2+ years on the market. I tried to find one for my brother, no luck. But i got one because i called and checked. They are selling out everywhere. There has been some rumors, but they all faded away. With Nintendo's Pokemon game transition from Gameboy to DS, Pokemon Diamond and Pearl, next hand held within next 2 years? not a chance

There might be something in their R&D department but I can't imagine they would release a new handheld any time soon. I haven't heard word of anything new and I doubt Nintendo would want word of anything new to get out even if they are working on something since that could hurt DS sales. It will probably be a few years before a new one comes.

They could be working on one but not wanting to release it yet.
I wouldn't like the screen to go any small i think a little bit bigger screen would be good.
I had game boy advences games are been faded out.
So maybe the new one will take Nintendo ds games plus the new games
But I really don't know to be honest..
