You will understand a lot more of your Venus sign when you attracted to gals..or it could mean that might be very intuitive about the other gender because you possess that trait - more or less developped in some -.
Again I do not know your chart..so what can I say ?? Each individual is unique !!
Venus in a male means what they seek in a female. in a relationship.
Your moon will tell you what your deepest desires are : usually understanding, sharing, close connection and all that..

It is the feminine sign which even males have : the yearning to connect. or the stereotyope of the ideal female..
Bit like Mars in womens' chart..
