he brought me a Ham sammich with potato bread and cut avacados..and a glass of sweet iced tea..yummy..

I think your husband loves you very much. He sounds like a realy nice guy. (and i say this because i have seen guys that are just plan mean to ther wives,and not many husbands would make something like that for someone els, they might just eat it.)
So yes, give him some love, he will like that.
