you're joking, right? if you can talk really fast about bitches, money and rims, then you can rap. very few rappers out there actually have any musical knowledge or talent. one of these is mike shinoda from linkin park. listen to fort minor, then listen to young jeezy. you'll see.

probably basic high school english to write the lyrics, but, almost none to write the music. all rap music is just a rip off of other works, just look at puff daddy and the crap he puts out.
