My oldest sister is almost 21 and this tradition starded before she was in 8th grade so if we dont get these things wen we leave the middle school i will be soooo mad!!!!!!!!!Do u think this is fair if they cancel it??

deffinitly doesnt seem fair........ talk to your new principal about it and if they try to stop it pettition it......... the 8th grade trip is a long standing traddition that brings the peers together in a fun filled safe trip outside of school to become better freinds and make good middle school experiances before you go to your seperate highschools and start your adventure into becoming an adult........ (you can quote me) ... go talk to him and see what aspects of the trip he does not like, if its the distnace try finding some place closer to home, if its some balogna aobut money point out that the trip should be funded completely by donations and fundraisers speccifically for it... if there are problems occuring durring the trip(sneaking out, drinking, smoking, ect.) suggest more chaparones and that he go along.................... thats all i can help you with but the 8th grade trip was some of the most fun i had that year....... good luck

not a matter of fairness, theres no requirement that you have to have it.
It would suck if they did do that though, maybe get people in your grade to petition to keep it?
I know for our senior year, we didnt get a project graduation which pissed a lot of people off.

Not really, you should be talking to them about it, not us. Of course if they're going to stop it has to stop somewhere...life sucks like that
