I watch Tyra because I like tyra banks, but I am getting tired because for the whole year she always talk about herself, or associate herself in everything. Is this show really for the people or just to promote herself?

I know what you mean!! I kept saying that to my girlfriends and they said I was being mean. I remember one particular show when she was talking to people that had been battered by their boyfriends and all of a sudden she burst into tears. And started saying that she had been in an abusive relationship... Where her boyfriend used to say mean things to her. And I was just thinking.... Child that ain't the same thing!!! She was taking all the attention from the poor woman because she was bawling her eyes out and yet it wasn't about verbal abuse these were women that were in really seriously dangerous relationships where they couldn't walk out even though they wanted. In a verbally abusive r'ship u can always just ignore what someone is saying. The same thing in ANTM when they eliminated the Persian chick in Season 3 I think... and all the girls were all so sad and started crying and she just jumped in and started talking about how she was scared because she had just started her music career... I mean please... Woman get over yourself!!!

It may be annoying but what do you talk about when you are done with everything else. I mean we should be thankful for her she has been a much better role model for young girls than Ms. Spears, Ms. Hilton etc. etc. I think she is a strong young women and maybe we should all get over the fact that she talks about her self and listen to her.....

i love tyra but i think the onlyreason why she always talk abt herself is bcuz alot of girls look up to her. so i guess she just wanna set a good example.....im watching americas next top model and they just said: 'u r not ready to meet tyra yet' (something abt a boot camp.) kinda comceded byt i love her anyways!!!

I like her show too, when it is about other people! I truly believe, that she misses her career as a model..It was so obvious when she created that modeling show in search for the new super models. I think she regrets gaining the weight back and feels insecure now.
She should be happy. She is rich, young, single, and have a great television career..

the same reason oprah puts herself on the cover of EVERY issue of her magazine. i think its a low self esteem thing. like if she doesnt praise herself then nobody else will. they are both weird.
