Definitely Irish, if I had to choose. Not that I'm wishing to change :)

Well, I AM part Irish, and I don't want to be part of the English tradition that hurt my people so much.

I'm also part Scots Irish...sorry about that. I can't help my heritage. Everybody in Mid-Appalachia tends to have Scots-Irish ancestry. I might have some English heritage too...but that's not my fault!

I identify most with my Irish ancestors. I'd pick Irish.

tough question. I think I'd choose Irish. I have Scottish ancestry and would lean towards that, but either woulb be interesting.

I noticed that most people chose due to accents & no one mentioned the different lives the two would have. I regret to say I don't feel informed enough to make the distinction.
