jermaine o'neals is leading the league in bpg. josh smith is a sf and is still on the top 5 for blocks. camby is extremely consistent with swating and is feared for it (maybe im being biased cause hes my favorite player) . emeka and alonzo are also beasts. or it could be big ben with his monsterous swats. theres too many people to choose from!!

Zo is my personal favorite. He is an absolute monster + you have to take in to consideration that he isn't a starter, therefore he won't have as many minutes. He gets his blocks in a much shorter period of time. Last season, he had a combined 17 blocks in two games against the New York Knicks.

Did you in basic terms say Kobe? Wow. (no longer so as) KG Mutumbo Samuel Dalembert Pape Sow Kirilenko Tayshaun Prince (can up from the returned and block) Marcus Camby Alonzo Morning Ben Wallace Jermaine O'Neal human beings think of of Shaq and Yao, yet they are extra in the class of a shot changer. *Amare isn't a shot blocker neither is D-Wiz, R-Sheed is nice.*

Wallace's blocks are limited to about 2.2. I think I should go with Marcus Camby because he is more consistent and knows the art of blocking well. Josh Smith is definitely lethal because of his leaping ability. He jumps through the roof and has an abnormal blocking ability.

I'm going to say Alonzo Mourning, because when he swats, he embarrasses the shooter more than all other swatters because Mourning volleyball spikes the ball. The embarrassment factor is intangible, but essential.

Regardless, they're all better shot blockers than me!

My pick: Hakeem "The Dream" Olajuwon

Olajuwon was a beast and he doesn't hold the all time blocks record for nothing (a whopping 3820 blocks!) he is in my opinion one of the greatest true centers ever to play. put him in his prime years against any other center (yes including Shaq) and he will win.

Camby all the way.
If this guy could ever manage to play all 82 games, his blocking numbers will be scary.

u asked for best shotblocker, not shotblocker by category. that way josh smith doesnt count. i like alonzo because he comes off the bench and still swats it good.
