are they going to come out with the ss. rs. rs/ss. and z28 like the old 69's?

I would imagine there would be at least an SS package, if not an RS and Z28 package. They are planning both 6 and 8 cylinders.

I don't think anything is confirmed yet. I talked to a Chevy rep back on 1/1/07, and they said nothing is definite yet, since they haven't determined engine packages.

Here is my best-guess scenario for the new Camaros:
Camaro (entry level) - 5.3 liter V8 with Displacement on Demand (325 hp)
Z28 - 6.0 liter LS2 V8 with Displacement on Demand (425 hp)
SS - 7.0 liter LS7 V8 with Displacement on Demand (525 hp)

I figure by '09, the Z06 will be over 550 hp, so the SS Camaro having the LS7 might be doable. I can only hope.

I really hope they do come out with an RS/SS... so much that I took an existing photo of a standard 09 Camaro and did a little photoshop work to see how it would look as a rally sport.

I would definitely buy this!!

They have always had an SS package, I would assume they would do the same again. I would really like to see an RS/SS though.

First thinkgs first thouhg, the need to get that beast on the street, I am tired of seeing all these wimpy mustangs!
