There was an issue (I think 40 or 45) back in the 60's where he actually lost his shirt while battling the Kingpin

The mask is separate from the body, and I believe the suit separates torso from the legs

i think it depends on what media you're looking at, as a cartoon it was mask, torso, and legs, in the movie it was a body suit and mask, in the comics i believe it was a 3 piece but i could be wrong.

He has a top, bottom and mask. He often gets his camera from his belt. You see that the suit is not one piece.
