I'd say it really depends on how big the yard is. If its like one of those postage stamps that masquerade as yards, I'd say between $5-10. Also consider this: is it just the front yard, or the front and back?

Well, minumum wage, to start. Then add in your expenses: Gas, mower maintenance, insurance, advertising, anything it costs to do that job.

You shouldn't charge less than $20 per hour, and you should have a minimum charge as well (which I would say should be one hour).

In my neck of the woods, a professional lawn-maintenance company charges, roughly, $45-60 per hour. But it depends on YOU. Who are they hiring?

My yard is 8910 square feet... I pay $35 for it to be mowed.

That is equal to just over a penny (.012) a square foot.

Trying to figure out the yards was just too much math for me! :0)

If the lot is 120'x120' normal lot = I'd charge $15.00 since gas is'nt cheap, if its a little larger $20= if they say too much tell the price of gas. If the lot is a acre $50.00
