Is this a sign of males being the superior?
When you read or going down a list when it comes down to gender you always see HE/SHE or are you MALE or Female,

I see "s/he" just as often. Perhaps you live in a particularly sexist area.

Point this out to people if you want to change things.

I'm not sure that I understand your question. When I see "he/she" it is usually used in a context where the author is not aware of the gender of the person he(she) is speaking of and opts for using both pronouns. Thus, "he/she" is being used as a single androgenous pronoun refering to a person. I usually see this in things like guidelines, policies, proceedures, that sort of thing. I think that the use of such invented pronouns as "he/she" or "s/he", are designed to be more politically correct, not signs of superiority. The use of a pronoun could be avoided all together, I suppose, but I would think that would make for some repititous, if not awkward wording.

Males being superior...lol...to what? No, plain and simple, just more sexism, what else?

Bottom line, we are a society that goes by majority, so women are the majority in the world. Therefore, I say we start owing that and changing things like this.

Come pn! This is why some men think feminists are just annoying. I personally think that putting "he/she" or "s/he" or "he or she" is just plain annoying and is a waste of time! There are better things to do that worry about that, really!

You're just paranoid.

Since English has no gender-neutral pronouns that we can use without it being incredibly awkward, one of them needs to go first.

What is the problem? You want it to be She/He? Isn't that sexist too? It is just that way because it has always been that way. Does it really matter anyway?

It saves a few keystrokes. A better way to do is: "s/he". That saves even more keystrokes. Crappy english, though.
