When do you start remembering things?

i remember as far back as 3... but i know some who can remember back to 2....

I read of a recent study that showed that babies do remember things but... the memories do not remain. Lasting memories begin at about age 4 or 5.

i believe as young at 3. My son is 9 and remembers alot of his 3 yr. As i dont remember anything earlier then age 5!

As far back as i can remember a happening, i was three years old. I remember standing in a crib at a hospital with my mom and my aunt there . I had my tonsils out and i had to have a drink to swallow ice cubes. Yuk...so you can see how ide remember that!!!!!Bettyk.

I remember the day my father died, I was 20 mo. old. I remember it in detail. Years later when I was grown I told my mom and she though I was mistaken till I told her all the details I could remember. I don't remember anything else till I was about 4 years old.

If you mean as much earlier as possible in your life go back to your early school days (around kindergarden age if you can). This is what a child psychologist told me once and she was right!

My first memory replaced into whilst i replaced into 3. My mom made me clean my mattress room earlier gazing Dumbo (it replaced into on television) and that i pitched a extra healthy and refused to bathe my room. finally, when I gave up the combat and picked my toys up, I went into the front room and there replaced into Dumbo, flying away with the crows in the back of the practice. :'(
