why when i delete gmail msgs from outlook 2007, they dont get deleted on my gmail? thanks?

I want to sync my home and work but see deleted messages at both places

if i check the remove from server option, then i cant see them on my other PC :(

To do this would then make emails you read via Outlook only available in outlook and not in Gmail anymore. You could read them in Gmail until you accessed them in Outlook.
