Depends how serious you are about your partner. It is technically "cheating", however, I know that working through relationship issues such as cheating can make a pair extremely strong, and if you're willing to forgive and your partner is willing to stop being foolish, then you have to look at the fact that he/she was honest in the first place - that says a lot.
First things first: TALK TOGETHER!

I had this happen to me, at my boyfriend at the time birthdays, a girl kissed him and he then kissed her back, I let it go at the time, in less than a week things ended with us, he went with her, she screwed him over every way possible, he wanted me back, I walked away...
To save you some grief walk away now.

that's so sad sorry Hun depends on how serious you are but to me a kiss is just as bad as sleeping together know that sounds weird but sex can be impulsive and spur of the moment to me a kiss is very personal so is sex don't get me wrong i would leave my husband if he kissed another person i couldn't get over that and would be a wreck ever time he went out good luck

Definately depends on the situation, how long you have been together, how serious you are, what his history is like, why he did it.
Some people have to do something like this at least once to test you, if they have been hurt or are insecure they may sabbotage the relationship because it is easier to deal with she left me because I cheated than she left me because she did not love me.
All I am saying is do not be too quick to give up on a relationship if you really feel it is the one.

You nip it in the butt right then and there so it won't happen again. If you really love the person and that is supposedly all they did; you forgive them and move on but if they do that again then don't walk but run away from that person and move on to a better one.

WALK AWAY EVERY TIME. how do you konw he wont do it again, he obviously didnt think much of YOU at the time he was making out with some other chick. im not saying its all his fault, but im pretty sure he put himself in that kind of sitatuation and didnt control his d!ck. he is untrustworthy in my eyes. if you DID stay with him (if you think its worth it and that it will work out okay) make sure he realises what he's done and how much it hurt.. make him EARN your trust back, without trust in a relationship, youve got nothing!

It's good that he was honest with you but if I was you I would still be worried because if it really meant nothing to him he probably wouldn't have said anything because he wouldn't want to hurt you. If you really love each other it could be worked through but could you really trust him again?
