Did you read this book? It's a teacher's dream book for symbolism, and all 3 of these are very obvious if you've read it.....

The conch became the symbol of Ralph's power over the other kids. The fire on the mountain represented the hope of rescue. Piggy's glasses showed just how far the castaways had strayed from their own humanity.

The conch symbolizes leadership and order. Piggy's glasses symbolize the boys' hope to return to the civilized world, because it is the means through which they may start a fire to attract ships to rescue them. This fire itself also symbolizes the boys reaching out to humanity. When the glasses and conch are broken, it symbolizes that the boys have become entirely savage, and no longer have any desire to connect with the civilized human world.
