There has to be, but none of them are going to come out of the closet while they are still playing. Look at the way Tim Hardaway reacted recently. We still have a long way to go before a gay athlete can be open during his career.
There's also Memphis rookie Rudy Gay, if you're looking for a joke :)

Why are people telling the questioner that John Amaechi is gay? Can't they infer that the questioner KNOWS that already from the wording of the question?
Anyway
Amaechi himself says that gay players called him and are horrified of the concept of coming out. So yes, there are.
