Hey all have a check engine light for a 2000 Olds Intrigue. It's showing 340... there has to be someplace online I can find out what that means. I've been looking too, can you help?

Code 340 is for the cam sensor circuit. If the car has a 3.4L engine, the sensor is under the powersteering pump. If the car has a 3.8L engine, the sensor is on the timing cover. 7/10 times, the sensor goes bad.

Is it a P0340 code?
A code doesn't mean one specific thing, you need to perform a diagnostic procedure for the code, which indicates the crankshaft and camshaft position sensor. Doesn't necessarily mean the sensor is bad though.
