They don't even have to be your favorite bands, just best ever. And when I 'ever', I mean that it can't be in the past 10yrs because bands don't earn that status overnight. So no My Chemical Romance, or Nickelback, or whatever.

G-man you did not just bust out Dream Theater! Impressive, they're on my Ipod. Like a mix of Iron Maiden and Queensryche....now get Nickelback off your list before I remember it was on there....

Ever??? They would have to be Led Zepplin, Stones (of course) and Doors. Can you tell I grew up in the mid 70's? ha. classic, it is. :) or Eagles and Cream (with Eric Clapton.....!!!) aargh!! oh, and what about Iron Butterfly? or Pink Floyd???? this is hard.
