If what you hear is a girl singing an R&B song from the last 2 years, what you are trying to find is the song Rock-A-Bye, which is by the new German R&B group Black Buddafly.
They are getting airplay in urban stations for both this song and the song "Bad Girl" (which I like a lot), but they haven't actually released their album yet... The singles are readily available on the internet already.
