***I have to choose one side as evil-or one who uses more of the 7 deadly sins for school

Personally, I don't feel either is inherently evil. If you look at the differing facets of each persona then both contain evil traits. Bruce Wayne is nearly the physical embodiment of everything that Batman fights against; Bruce Wayne is self-absorbed, has no sense of empathy, and uses his resources for personal gain. When faced with conversation about the problems in the world, Bruce Wayne focuses on his two girlfriends and how to have fun. Although this is only done as a ruse, it doesn't change the fact that he makes the choice to do it. Batman is evil in that he chooses to use fear as a weapon and while his intentions are noble his means of achieving his goals are illegal. During the scene when he is in the chase with police he causes damage to police resources and possibly to the officers themselves. While you could argue that many of them were dirty, it is unlikely that all of them were and that is wrong.

I don't think either one of them would truly be called evil. Looking at it from the 7 Deadly Sins angle, Bruce Wayne has Lust, Sloth, Greed, probably Pride, too. Batman has Wrath. But then, Batman has a *lot* of wrath, and is in fact the 'truer' side of the character, because honestly, Bruce Wayne is the mask.

Who says Batman/Bruce Wayne has an evil side. In Batman Begins he went on a journey of self-discovery and during that time he was borderline vigilante, but he learned to fight evil to protect the innocent
