Yes a few times. When I first moved in with my husband he use to leave the toilet seat up and I'd fall in. To get him off that habit, I put Saran wrap around the toilet. He peed all over himself. After that the toilet seat stayed down.

No because I figure it is more the responsibility of the user to look to see what the current seat position is.

Yes, and I hate that. How hard is it to put down the seat? Had I been shorter, I might have drowned.

Actually once I fell in cuz my inconsiderate wife didn't lift the seat when she was done. I slipped when I bent over and went right into the bowl.

LMFAOOOOOOOO!!!! Yes! In the middle of the night when I would go in there in the dark so my eyes didn't hurt from the light. I'd sit down and BAM it happened. It's so disgusting. I think they do it purposely.

guys point of view
if we leave the seat raised up you will know we lifted up and didn't pee all over it
now if it's left down you have to wonder if we lifted it up and then put it back down
or if we left it down and peed all over it
that is honestly why i leave it up
my house is me & my 2 sons and we always leave it saluting when we walk out
