I love national parks and such because it's a place to get away from everything and think. You can be at peace there, and it's beautiful! Try going to one and you'll love it! It's different than an amusement park. I love them, but it's nice to get away from it a while. It gives you room to breath. Fresh air and views.

City/County: Exercise/Amusement
1) playground equipment
2) swimming pools (much needed relief from
excessive summer heat in addition to E/A)
3) tennis, ball courts/fields
4) picnic areas
5) some have community centers that can be
rented out for events/parties
6) adds the beauty of nature in the middle of
otherwise treeless, shadeless developments
State/National: In addition to the above,
1) hiking/biking trails
2) some have horse riding trails
3) some have paddle boats, canoe rentals
4) some have water ways large enough for
boat docks/ramps were you can bring your
own motorboats etc.
5) to preserve the beauty of the land and
provide shelter for animals such as deer,
moose, bear, alligator, crocodile, platypus etc.
In a nutshell it is to help in the prevention of "couch potatoes" if/when used. Provides us with fresh air/sunshine, gives us locations to socialize, vacation, or see the wonders of the world such as the Grand Canyon, Mount Rushmore, or Niagara Falls just to name a few.

The purpose is to watch people play sports, go on swings, go to the pool, and at the national parks as landmarks. It's like going to the Grand Canyon.

Those kinda parks are boring, amusement parks and water parks are much better.

the purpose of parks is to take thrill into your life and have fun. experience what you can't experience on your own and see what abilities God has given man.but, most importantly it is to have fun.
