the idea of your injections is that you should be able to have unprotected sex with the man that you trust without getting pregnant.
this doesn't guarantee that you wont get pregnant but virtually rules it out.
your being very sensible by also using condoms but i wouldn't worry if you slip up on the odd occasion.
remember nothing is 100% but it is 99.9 safe on the injections that you have.

I take it you were put on this medication by a doctor. Speak to him/her and find out exactly what type of protection it gives you. If it is not 100% safe then you need to take more care that you do not fall pregnant, find out if the morning after pill is an alternative and if not you really must take better care when you have sex. Keep condoms or whatever else you use by your bed in your handbag, just don't be without protection, if your doctor says it is required. He is not saying this for the good of his health, it is your health he is concerned with. You do know this can be a life threatening condition if you fall pregnant? So stop mucking about and find out the facts from the one who knows. YOUR DOCTOR and stop playing silly bxxxxxs with your life.

Lay off the booze long enough for the confusion to clear up. I do concur with the fact that if your ovaries have been shut down, there is no egg to be fertilized, therefore you should not get pregnant. BUT, keep in mind that medical science does the best it can, but sometimes nature has other ideas. The only sure way to prevent pregnancy is abstinence.

Yes Marie you can get pregnant while taking prostap. You will have to take a pregnancy test and if you are not pregnant, take it as a warning and use a condom in future and Good Luck.

It sounds to me like the injections you are getting are working as a birth control. I don't think you should have anything to worry about as far as getting pregnant.
You should never take any meds while you are on a prescription without first consulting your doctor to find out what the side effects are in conjunction with your current prescription. They could adversly effect each other.

i would defiantly take the advice the chemist gave you leave the morning after pill alone, Most likely you are covered by your injection, since the ovaries are shut down, yeah sure some times things don't always work properly, if it did not work properly your probably still fine since your body is use to them not functioning.
